Questions
What counts as a check?
A check is a completed verification session — one where the user uploaded their ID and selfie. Abandoned or failed sessions don’t count.
What happens when I hit my limit?
On the Free plan, new verifications are blocked until next month. On paid plans, overage checks are billed at your tier’s per-check rate — no interruption to service.
What happens to data after retention expires?
Photos and biometric data are permanently deleted. Session metadata (pass/fail, timestamps) is preserved. You’ll receive email warnings 2 days and 1 day before expiry.
Can I upgrade or downgrade anytime?
Yes. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the end of your billing cycle. Existing data retention is preserved.
Do you offer annual billing?
Not yet, but if you need annual invoicing or custom terms, email sales@facevault.id.
